good friends

today...well, i guess it was yesterday already...i got to spend some time with former classmate friends, Darlene and Andrea, at Church on the Hill's Spirit of America 2006 4th of July celebrations. we listened to the various bands, enjoyed good food, and oohed and aahed at the grand fireworks display. mostly i enjoyed hanging out with my old friends.

reminiscing Newbold days

yesterday evening after Winterfest rehearsal, Darlene and I went to a new pearl tea place at San Antonio Shopping Center called Pearl Cafe. we both had their hot jasmine pearl tea. it was gooood...with very nicely steamed milk, too! cozy place...and free wifi. check out review on yelp.com

we hung out at the cafe and chatted for some time before going back to her place to use the loo...talking about Newbold just activated the British vocab all over again! ha! and of course we looked at some Newbold pix.
